Surgery

Thin porcelain veneers (1 mm or less) are glued to the visible part of the teeth (they resemble fingernails).

These thin layers are designed to:

  1. Recreate the ideal aesthetic dimensions of teeth
  2. Permanently change the color of teeth
  3. Align teeth with a minor overlap
  4. Reduce the visibility of gums
  5. Strengthen the teeth on which they are applied
  6. Make a wider smile narrow
  7. Straighten the smile

Treatment

Usually two appointments of 2 -3 hours each are required for a cosmetic treatment for 8 to 10 teeth. The number of teeth to be treated varies from person to person, depending on the width of your smile, i.e., the number of teeth visible when you smile.

Porcelain veneers are the most popular aesthetic treatment because porcelain does not stain and is more resistant to wear than tooth enamel.

Porcelain veneers conserve existing tooth structure, permanently whiten teeth, and appear natural. They are the perfect solution.
