Bruxism — teeth clenching or grinding, often at night — affects approximately 8 to 10% of the adult population. It causes premature tooth wear, muscle pain in the jaws and temples, morning headaches, and sometimes sleep disruption. Botulinum toxin (Botox®) injected into the masseter muscles reduces their contraction force without affecting normal chewing function.
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) can be a source of chronic pain: clicking, pain on opening, limited mouth opening. When conservative treatments (splints, physiotherapy) are insufficient, peri-articular botulinum toxin injections represent an effective option to reduce muscle tension.
On the aesthetic side, injections are performed based on a detailed understanding of facial anatomy. This approach supports precise application tailored to each patient’s features.
Procedures we offer
Bruxism (Clenching/Grinding)
Injections into masseter muscles to reduce contraction strength and relieve muscle pain, dental wear, and associated headaches.
TMJ Pain
Reduction of periarticular muscle tension to alleviate TMJ pain resistant to conservative treatments.
Muscle-Related Headaches
Management of headaches associated with overactivity of temporalis and masseter muscles.
Aesthetic Injections
Supporting function and facial harmony based on structured evaluation of muscular activity and facial dynamics.
