Coverage and Insurance

Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

The CDCP is a federal program that helps cover dental care costs for eligible residents who do not have private dental insurance. It may cover some costs related to our services, including oral surgery (such as extractions). Dental implants and all implant-related services are not covered by the CDCP. The covered portion depends on family income: 100%, 60% or 40% of eligible costs, based on the plan's set fees. You may pay part of the cost if our fees exceed those rates. Please note that some clinics where Dr. Butel works are affiliated with the CDCP and others are not.

Coverage varies by treatment and plan. We provide a detailed estimate to submit to your insurer for pre-determination.

RAMQ

Most of these treatments are not covered for adults.
